This is my first blog writing/exp sharing. since it was pending for my first evr travel to korea in 2008 Sep..
it was a my 3rd travel and second time to Korea Tue 7th -2009 night. when i left home it was 8PM Bengaluru airport along with my cousins n parents. had some amt of fun with kids
This time there was a fear of Swine flu which had spread all over world, so i had to be careful with that. but seeing the atmosphere inside flight or terminal , i wore the mask here and there when i m walking in crowd.
it was long and tiring journey of around 11.30PM - 4PM almost 16 hrs... my flight was 1 hr delayed 11.30 flight came at 12.30AM..
this time luckily i got both window seats till seoul,, so those things which i had missed in my last flight i could enjoy.
I had my dinner and slept off . my flight landed at bangkok 6AM
Flight landed and then went to other side of airport to for transit as i was already 1 hr late by my schedule time, i didnot had much time to see around. it takes around 30+ min walk to other side.
it was cold misty weather out in bangkok which was tempting to step out frm flight TG-326 Thai airways (airbus 320)..
while walking through the airport towards my 2nd flight there were memories of my last year where i enjoyed the Bangkok trip with free of cost for just 1.5K INR. It would remain as a memorable trip of my life.
so went inside and after some time had some breakfast .. they gave something which looked like uppit and i had to manage with the available food itself..
when flight took off it was around 8.., here on it was a journey of 8 hrs to seoul (incheon airport).
now the thrilling experience was awaiting for me when i opened my window i could see the plane cruising into clouds,
when flight the altitude of around 12000+ft (nearly 3.5Kms vertically) it was a treat to watch outside window because there was thick cloud formation on North pacific ocean.
it looked as if was another land over earth, and there were mountains of clouds, and where there was gap you see directly the ocen below as if the river. only missing things were living beings with houses on it....
Altogether it was amazing experience..
Flight journey and my sleep continued till we reach Taipei landed in middle.. its just like when we go for long journey by our KSRTC they stop for tea-break. hahaha.....
so finally my flight started in 30 min and landed at seoul exactly on time 4PM..
The scene at airport was exactly similar as i had seen it last year, After i get out of plane to reach the main terminal i am suppose to catch subway train to reach the main terminal. i still dont know the structure of the incheon, but i can make out that the airport is very huge and Yes meets the international standards unlike BIAL which is so small that you can run across within 10 min.
I dint wast much time here and did my immigration soon and reached down stairs to collect my luggage, and here i was out of airport..
As I had 50,000 wons from my last trip it was not needed for me to exchange at airport. i went out and took a ticket to Gumi, then informed guest house about my arrival.
I got the bus for 4.20OM and reached at 8.15..
by the time i got out of bus at gumi my guest house owner Santosh was waiting outside to receive me.. reached GH in 10 min had dinner straight away then went to room..
So thats all for now, it was a wonderfull journey after a gap of 1 year with some good old memories and some good scenic views.
